Logos Answers in Arabic

This month, we reached another significant milestone in our efforts to reach truth seekers throughout the world. We launched our website and YouTube pages in Arabic (logosanswers.org/ar and youtube.com/@logosanswersar). That means that nearly 422 million additional people can access and interact with the gospel through our website, in their own language.

The particularly special significance of this is the number of truth seekers who would otherwise not be able to access the truth. Christianity is strictly forbidden in most Arab countries. Church buildings and printed Bibles are outlawed. Yet, Christianity in Arab countries is still growing faster than the United States. There are Muslims and mainstream Christian groups who are searching for Biblical truth in these strict Arab countries. The only way they will be able to access the truth is through online resources, such as Logos Answers. In addition to videos and articles being provided in Arabic, and customized to the Arabic culture, truth seekers will have the avenue of asking any question they may have.

As special as this is, we still have a lot of work to do. The Arabic mission is not complete just because we put up a website with a handful of lessons. There is still the difficult task of continuing to develop lessons and promote the sites so that as many Arabic speakers as possible may come in contact with the gospel.

Thankful for our Arabic Speaking Partner

God has blessed us with a reliable partner to translate and promote the work in Arabic. Awny Jadon is a member of the church in Nazareth, Israel. His father is the preacher at the congregation there. We have contracted with Awny to work on our translations. He is fluent in English and Arabic. In addition, his father reviews the translations to ensure everything is translated faithfully from a doctrinal standpoint.

Awny graduated from Freed-Hardeman with a degree in Computer Science and he relocated to Israel. He also held a position at Nations University, where he was responsible for developing and promoting their English websites, as well as translating and promoting their online content in Arabic in various digital channels. Currently, Awny is a website developer and online promoter as a profession. However, he is also excited to work with Logos Answers to make the gospel widely accessible throughout the region. Working with Awny has been a special pleasure due to his professionalism, reliability, and his passion for taking the truth to as many Arabic speakers as possible.

Fundraising Travels

We request your special prayers for the coming months. The whole family will be driving cross-country during April and May. We will be visiting with current supporters out West, and we will be attempting to raise additional support.

Aside from raising regular ongoing support for lesson development and translation, we hope to raise interest in advancing the Arabic work. Our first phase goal was to simply make the Arabic site live with some of the basic lessons. With that being complete, we are anxious to move to the next phase of translating the remainder of lessons, and actively promoting the site on search engines and social media. Awareness will be key to making the site top of mind when truth seekers are looking for answers. Raising awareness requires funding and the professional experience that Awny offers in digital promotion.

If you happen to know of any congregations specifically interested in supporting a mission work to Arabic speaking countries, please let us know. It is hard to imagine another opportunity in the brotherhood with as much potential impact in the Arabic speaking world as what we can do with Awny’s help.

Lads 2 Leaders Preparation

As we’re sure many of you have experienced lately, our family has been consumed by Lads 2 Leaders preparation and practice. Due to the dedicated families, the Woodstock congregation is heavily involved in L2L, and that means that this year, we are more involved. Alexis and the kids have worked especially hard at preparing speeches, song leading, Bible bowl, art, Scripture reading, and puppets. We will be staying in downtown Atlanta this weekend where we will be participating, supporting other brothers and sisters, and helping to judge events. Scott will also be setting up the Bear Valley table. Hope to see some of you there!

Love,

-The Ihle Crew
